The Sydney Swans and HSBC extend partnership

The Sydney Swans have announced a partnership extension with HSBC Australia for a further three years, with the banking giant now supporting the Sydney Swans women’s and men’s teams until at least 2025.

For the first time, the partnership will extend to the Sydney Swans women’s team, strengthening the organisation’s commitment championing diversity and inclusion.

Sydney Swans CEO Tom Harley lauded the strong values alignment between HSBC and the Swans.

“We’re thrilled that HSBC has extended its commitment to the Sydney Swans. The organisation has been a wonderful partner, and like our club, is committed to delivering quality experiences and supporting our local community,” Harley said.

“Both the Swans and HSBC are passionate about diversity and inclusion – together we have marched in the Mardi Gras Parade and celebrated the Pride Game, and we will continue to work to make everyone feel welcome at the football.

“On behalf of everyone at our club I would like to thank HSBC for its ongoing support. We’re looking forward to continuing to work together in the years ahead.”

Jessica Power, Head of Wealth and Personal Banking for HSBC Australia, said: “We are proud to have partnered with the Sydney Swans for the past three years, and are excited that our partnership now includes the women’s team moving forward.

“Over the course of our partnership we have worked with the Sydney Swans to champion a diverse and inclusive environment for football at all levels. We are looking forward to continuing this focus for both the men’s and women’s team’s over the next few years,” said Ms Power.

HSBC has been a Premier Partner of the Sydney Swans since 2020, and will continue to be the official match-day partner of the Pride Game at the SCG – scheduled for Round 13 of the men’s season this year.
