HSBC Australia appoints Independent Non-Executive Director

HSBC Australia has today announced the appointment of Anne Loveridge AM as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 February 2025.

Ms Loveridge will bring over 40 years of financial services experience to the bank’s Board.

Most recently, she was a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) for nine years. She currently serves on the Boards of Platinum Asset Management (ASX:PTM), nib Holdings (ASX:NHF), Accent Group (ASX:AX1) and Destination NSW.

Prior to her Non-Executive Director career, Ms Loveridge spent more than 30 years in professional services, working as a Financial Services Partner at PwC and also holding the role of Deputy Chairman of PwC’s Board of Partners for over three years.

Grant King, Chairman of the Board of HSBC Australia, said: “Anne’s extensive executive and director career in financial and professional services will bring valuable expertise to the Board, strengthening our position as a leading international bank in Australia.”

Ms Loveridge is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Member of CEW (Chief Executive Women) and Member of IWF Australia ( International Women's Forum).
