Starting 2nd December 2024, cardholders will have the chance to win one of seven incredible international holidays to destinations such as Vancouver, Los Angeles, Cape Town, Singapore, Bangkok, Taipei, and New Zealand.
The exclusive promotion highlights the benefits of HSBC’s Star Alliance credit card, which combines credit card rewards with premium travel privileges, offering customers more reasons to explore some great destinations.
Jessica Power, Head of Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC Australia, said, “At HSBC, we’re committed to helping Australians achieve their travel aspirations. This competition is an exciting way to reward our customers with the opportunity to experience unforgettable destinations and take full advantage of the travel privileges our Star Alliance credit card offers. Our partnership with Visa and Star Alliance reinforces our mission to make global travel seamless and rewarding.”
Each prize includes two return airfares and four to seven nights’ accommodation at a stunning destination. Beyond the competition, the HSBC Star Alliance credit card offers exceptional benefits, including fast-track Star Alliance Gold status, airport lounge access, priority boarding, and uncapped Star Alliance Points earning potential.
Nadine Kindler, Director - Loyalty at Star Alliance added, “Our motto at Star Alliance is to make travel effortless. With the HSBC Star Alliance credit card, customers can elevate their travel with exclusive Gold Status privileges such as access to over 1,000 airport lounges, priority check-in and baggage services. We’re thrilled to offer cardholders the chance to explore seven exciting destinations on our global network.”
Simon Baptist, Principal Economist for Visa Asia Pacific, said, “Australians love to travel. Outbound departures are estimated to have grown by 20% since 2019 – this makes it the strongest post-covid recovery in Asia Pacific, and why it is important to make cross border payments seamless.”
The HSBC Star Alliance credit card is designed to enhance both everyday spending and international travel. Cardholders can earn Star Alliance Points on purchases, transfer them to any of the seven participating Star Alliance Frequent Flyer programs at any time, and enjoy benefits like complimentary international travel insurance and interest-free balance transfers for 12 months.
